Trust in tax systems is at its highest when taxpayers perceive low levels of corruption and diversion of funds   Taxpayers' attitudes about paying taxes correlate closely with perceived levels of corruption, according to a major new study, Public Trust in Tax, by accountancy bodies ACCA and the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC). A global survey focusing on  14 developing economies , including  Pakistan , found that trust in tax systems is lower when taxpayers perceive higher levels of corruption and diversion of public funds. Various customers of the digital app took to social media to register their complaints regarding the unavailability of the Easypaisa app service.   The gaming community of Free Fire, one of the most popular mobile games in Pakistan, has pledged to donate 25000 Kg of rice as humanitarian assistance to support the people affected by the unprecedented floods in Pakistan. According to preliminary estimates, 65% of Pakistan’s main food crops including 70% of its rice have been swept away during the floods. The rice is expected to provide immediate relief to around 200,000 people in the most affected communities.   A call for support was issued to the whole community through an online event, held inside the game, where each Free Fire player could donate the virtual tokens that they earned by simply playing the game. Each token collected was equivalent to 100g of rice.
