Alibaba.com to Organize Faisalabad Seller Summit

Leading B2B e-commerce platform Alibaba.com will host an event in Faisalabad on 16 August to discuss the new era of B2B e-commerce with existing and potential exporters in the region.

The event, titled “Go Export with Alibaba.com,” will bring together existing and potential exporters to offer tips and counsel on ways to begin and develop an online export business, as well as address questions on the necessary skills required by Pakistani sellers to grow in the field. It will be the first event of its type to be held by Alibaba.com in Faisalabad.

The event will feature highly qualified guest speakers, including are Mr Song Song, Head of Alibaba.com Pakistan; Mr Atif Munir Sheikh, President of FCCI and Mr Muhammad Haider Zaidi, Law Specialist of AUC| Law.

Free Fire Community Donates 25,000 KG Rice to Flood Victims in Pakistan

  The gaming community of Free Fire, one of the most popular mobile games in Pakistan, has pledged to donate 25000 Kg of rice as humanitarian assistance to support the people affected by the unprecedented floods in Pakistan. According to preliminary estimates, 65% of Pakistan’s main food crops including 70% of its rice have been swept away during the floods. The rice is expected to provide immediate relief to around 200,000 people in the most affected communities.   A call for support was issued to the whole community through an online event, held inside the game, where each Free Fire player could donate the virtual tokens that they earned by simply playing the game. Each token collected was equivalent to 100g of rice.
